Each Space Key contains a block comprised of the most advanced carbon-fire composite material. It was shipped to the International Space Station as part of a 2019 research program. After returning to Earth the block was engraved with a QR codes that link to the digital element of the Space Key.
Each of the five Space Keys features a different moment that occurs at different times when the Lamborghini Ultimae takes off towards the stars. More than 600 million pixels up each of the five images which were shot by photographer Fabian Oefner.
Oefner employed an inflatable camera that had a lens to capture the individual images, which were later assembled into the final photograph. The result is an image that is completely out of the world. It captures the beauty of Earth and the futuristic, hyperrealistic look of a car rising away from the Earth. The Space Keys will be auctioned off in the near future, however the exact date and time of the event haven't been confirmed yet.
