Cafe de Paris, Meinohama, Fukuoka

I've been in Fukuoka since I was a child...

Whenever I get on a Nishitetsu bus,

when I get off the "Tenjinkita" exit on the urban highway,

I've often glanced at "Boat Race Fukuoka"...

I've never been there before.

I've always wanted to go ♬

-This summer vacation-

Ta-da-da-da☆

My first boat race experience ♬

I was strongly recommended by the people on the outside...

I finally got on the boat I've always wanted to ride, which has the same specifications as a real boat ♬

-It weighs 70kg and is made of wood-

The engine displacement is 400cc

I never thought that the racers would sit upright in this super narrow cockpit!!

I'm ashamed to say...

This was the first time I'd ever heard of it ????

Handle with right hand, throttle lever with left hand.

There are no brakes!!

As I was being taught in detail about how to move and control the body when driving in a straight line and how to turn...

I learned a lot about how they compete at speeds of 60 to 80 km per hour without seat belts and in a very unstable environment up, down, left and right.

It was a great time of preparation that made me want to go and watch a race again ♬

Thank you very much to the boat racing instructor.
